Similarities between Eskimos and Mayans

Many of you have been wondering why we chose such odd groups to study together at the same time. Each were amazing, and are mores similar than you may have thought.
Each group faced the problem of seperation. Mayan peoples often broke off to become a part of another group such as the Zapotec or Aztec, and Eskimos often became a part of a different group of Eskimos such as Inuit or Inupiat.
