Welcome to the Ancient America blog. Here we will talk about all news pertaining to the group, as well as ideas, and theories about Ancient America. As you can see, I have just made a blogspot blog. Managers, feel free to post in the google group blog and I will post it into this blog Also, if you would like to make a blog post, but are not a manager, please email ancientamerica.group@gmail.com.
Our two main topics we are currently working on here at Ancient America are the Maya Civilization, and the eskimos. Two seemingly different cultures, that actually had to face many of the same challenges.
As you may or may not have saw, I already posted a discussion containing some of the many questions I and most likely many other people face when trying to find information on the Maya. I am looking forward to your replies.
For those of you wondering who I am, I will tell you now I am not a historian. I am simply someone who has an interest in History (primarily Ancient America) who wants to share my interest with other people. Why? To me, history is like a puzzle. Trying to solve the many questions unanswered to the best of your knowledge just adds to the fun of learning about ancient cultures. I hope that with this group, you start to love history just as much as I do, as we work together to make this group as good as it can be.
